Minor Flood Warning For The Cape River

MINOR FLOOD PEAK IS EXPECTED AT TAEMAS LATE TUESDAY.
Moderate to heavy rainfall over the last few days has caused river level rises across the Cape River catchment.

Cape River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Cape River to Burdekin Falls Dam.
The Cape River at Taemas is currently at 5.51 metres and rising with minor flooding.
The Cape River at Taemas is likely to peak near 6.00 metres late Tuesday.
