Final Flood Warning For The Belyando And Suttor Rivers

FLOOD LEVELS EASED BELOW MINOR AND CONTINUE EASING ACROSS THE CATCHMENT
No significant rainfall has been recorded over the catchments over the last few days. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Flooding along the Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam peaked and is easing below minor.
The Suttor River at St Anns eased below minor early Tuesday (17 May) morning. The river level is currently at 3.90 metres and continues easing slowly.
The Suttor River at St Anns will remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m) during Tuesday.
Cape River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Flooding along the Cape River to Burdekin Falls Dam peaked and continues easing below minor.
The Cape River at Taemas is currently at 3.21 metres and continues easing below minor.
The Cape River at Taemas will remain below the minor flood level (5.00 m) during Tuesday.
Burdekin River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Flood levels are continuing to ease below minor along the upper Burdekin River to Sellheim.
The Burdekin River at Sellheim is currently at 2.00 metres (below minor) and continues easing.
The Burdekin River at Burdekin Dam is currently at 1.97 metres (above the spillway) and continues easing slowly.
Burdekin River downstream of Burdekin Falls Dam:
River levels have peaked below the minor flood levels along the lower Burdekin River between Dalbeg and Inkerman Bridge over the weekend and are continue easing.
